Turner is a restricted free agent, so the Giants would have to provide San Diego compensation if the Chargers tender him as expected. The Giants could also work out a trade. The team Wednesday night brought in San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron for his second interview, according to several sources. He became the Dolphins' fifth finalist. Depending on how well Cameron does in front of Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga and his top assistants, he may pass one of the Dolphins' top two choices so far: Georgia Tech coach Chan Gailey and former Atlanta Falcons coach Jim Mora, a source said.Read more

Wednesday the team asked for permission to speak to Packers director of pro personnel Reggie McKenzie and Jaguars director of pro personnel Charles Bailey, according to sources familiar with the situation. The Packers granted permission and the Jaguars are expected to do so. The Titans are also expected to request permission to speak with several other candidates soon.Read more
Atlanta Falcons 01/18/2007 8:46 AMThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons RB Warrick Dunn had arthroscopic shoulder surgery within the past two weeks and faces months of rehabilitation before lifting weights and resuming football-related activities, the team confirmed. Atlanta's leading rusher in each of the past three seasons played much of the season with a damaged shoulder, but he did not miss a start for the third straight year. Dunn finished with 1,140 rushing yards â the second-highest total of his career â on a career-high 286 carries for the 7-9 Falcons.Read more
