Indianapolis Colts 11/12/2008 9:22 AMThe Indianapolis Star reports his numbers might not be particularly healthy but there's nothing wrong with wide receiver Marvin Harrison, Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy said Monday. "He's 100 percent," Dungy said, adding that Harrison's starting position is not in jeopardy. "Just one of those stretches we're going through. We have taken those plays for granted ever since I've been here that we're normally going to get two or three deep shots, and when we get them and we get them set up, they're normally touchdowns." Atlanta Falcons 11/12/2008 9:15 AMThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons DT Grady Jackson, appealing a four-game suspension from the NFL, filed a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturer of Nikki Harrell’s StarCaps diet pills Monday in Superior Court of California. Jackson is suing Balanced Health Products, the maker of StarCaps. He is seeking restitution and damages for false advertising and unfair business practices against the company and retailers of StarCaps. Other named defendants include Nikki Haskell, General Nutrition Corporation and Centers, Great Earth Companies and Vitamin Shoppe Industries.Read more
Baltimore Ravens 11/12/2008 9:10 AMThe Baltimore Sun reports on the same day the Ravens officially placed cornerback Chris McAlister on injured reserve, the club ended the season for strong safety Dawan Landry by putting him on IR as well. McAlister, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, has not played since the Ravens' 27-13 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Oct.19, when he was benched by coach John Harbaugh and relegated to limited snaps. McAlister underwent surgery Monday in Coral Gables, Fla., to repair his posterior cruciate ligament and cartilage damage on his right knee, according to the Associated Press.Read more
