Pittsburgh Steelers 12/18/2008 8:17 AMThe Post-Gazette reports the NFL yesterday unanimously approved sweeping changes in the ownership structure of the Steelers, but the team still plans to operate the Rooney way. "We wouldn't have done it if we thought we wouldn't be able to handle it," said team president Art Rooney II. "We plan to operate along the same guidelines we have historically. Did the savvy and sophisticated NFL send a representative to his door or a text to his telephone? Williams learned the old-fashioned way. He took a break from his video game, went on the Internet, checked the Pro Bowl roster and saw he was not on it. Panthers fans are roiling about the snub. They just don't know with any certainty if Jeff Garcia will be able to play.
