The 2005 Offensive Rookie of the Year missed practice again Thursday and is still wearing a protective boot. Tennessee Titans 12/22/2006 8:47 AMThe Nashville Tennessean reports the Titans had preliminary conversations this week with agent Hadley Engelhard about a long-term contract for RB Travis Henry. Engelhard said he's "optimistic something could come to fruition before free agency" begins in March. Henry, acquired in a June 2005 trade with the Bills, leads the Titans in rushing this season with 974 yards. Henry is under contract through 2009, but the Titans need to rework his contract because of an $8.3 million roster bonus he is scheduled to collect next spring. The bonus was created when he reached an incentive earlier this season.Read more
