The Carolina Panthers quarterback returned to practice Wednesday, and there is a chance he will play Sunday in a game that could decide if the team will reach the playoffs. Delhomme, who damaged ligaments in his right thumb in a loss at Philadelphia, took snaps with the first team and said he had no trouble throwing the ball.Read more
Tennessee Titans 12/28/2006 11:53 AMThe Nashville Tennessean reports Titans DL Tony Brown suffered a right knee injury during Wednesday's practice and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Brown was helped up by trainers and taken off the field on a cart. An MRI on the knee later was negative, but Brown's status for Sunday is uncertain.Read more

But the Jaguars might be without starting FS Deon Grant for the regular-season finale Sunday against the Chiefs in Kansas City, Mo. Grant suffered a strained hamstring against the Patriots, and he is listed on the Jaguars' injury report as doubtful. Grant didn't practice Wednesday.Read more
