Lynch was the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year and a first team All-American for the Golden Bears. In his final career game, the Oakland product ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Bears to a 45-10 victory over Texas A&M in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl. California finished the year with a 10-3 record and is currently ranked No. 20 in the nation.Read more
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 01/03/2007 8:50 AMThe Tampa Tribune reports though they have been friends for years, Donnie Henderson was never Lions HC Rod Marinelli's first choice for a defensive coordinator. The former Bucs defensive line coach always wanted his son-in-law, Bucs linebackers coach Joe Barry, to fill that spot and now it seems he will. Barring an unforeseen turn of events, Barry is expected to leave the Bucs and replace Henderson, whose firing Tuesday opened the door for Barry.Read more

Tennessee Titans 01/03/2007 8:37 AMThe Nashville Tennessean reports Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow could interview for the head coaching position with the Arizona Cardinals as early as this weekend. The Titans on Monday granted the Cardinals permission to talk to Chow, who just finished his second season with Tennessee. Last week the Titans exercised the one-year option on Chow's contract, although it won't prohibit him from interviewing for a head coaching job.Read more
