New Orleans Saints 01/04/2007 9:59 AMThe Times-Picayune reports Saints CB Mike McKenzie was involved in a four-car fender-bender in Metairie on Wednesday afternoon, but he was uninjured, Louisiana State Police said. McKenzie, 30, was headed east on Airline Drive at Labarre Road about 1:40 p.m. when he was struck from behind by another vehicle, State Police spokesman Trooper Joseph Piglia said. That caused a chain-reaction accident, in which McKenzie's vehicle struck the back of another vehicle, and that car smashed into a fourth vehicle.Read more

Cincinnati Bengals 01/04/2007 9:52 AMThe Dayton Daily News reports Bengals LB David Pollack underwent surgery here Wednesday to repair the neck fracture he suffered on Sept. 17. In a statement released by the club, Dr. Anthony Guanciale, a spine specialist who performed the procedure, said the operation "went without complications," and that Pollack is resting comfortably. To protect Pollack's privacy, the team didn't reveal the hospital where the surgery took place, but the club said Pollack's hospital stay "is not expected to last more than a few days."Read more
