"This is the best decision for me," Gaddis said. "I have thought about it for a long time and I am comfortable with the decision." Gaddis becomes the fifth player -- and second straight defensive back -- to leave coach Tommy Bowden's program early. St. Louis Rams 01/11/2007 8:32 AMThe St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports as Scott Linehan fielded questions from the media following the Rams' season-ending victory in Minnesota, RB Stephen Davis stood patiently next to the makeshift podium in the visitors' locker room. Once Linehan finished talking, he was approached by Davis and they stepped into a side room for a brief conversation. Perhaps Davis was thanking Linehan for giving him a chance to continue his career despite continuing knee problems the previous season in Carolina. That hasn't happened yet, but many players are making known their support of Ryan. Ryan has spent the past three seasons as the Raiders defensive coordinator.
