On Thursday, he made his first visit to the witness box, testifying at a hearing pertaining to a misdemeanor assault charge. That charge was dismissed in general sessions court after the alleged victim of a nightclub spitting incident and Jones both took the stand. "I'm through with court," Jones said after the hearing. Detectives are investigating the murder of Curtis Tavares Dopson, killed last Friday. According to the Herald, the slain man's family said Dopson was acquainted with Johnson.Read more
