Cincinnati Bengals 04/03/2007 7:32 AMThe Dayton Daily News reports left OT Levi Jones bounced through the locker room on opening day of the club's offseason workout program with a scar above his left eyebrow. Miami Dolphins LB Joey Porter was charged with misdemeanor battery after punching Jones in Las Vegas on March 18. "All ESPN wanted to report was that Joey Porter hit me in the face â not that six guys attacked me from behind before he did it," Jones said. "(Porter) got my attention from the front and wouldn't get near me, but then when the six guys jumped me from behind, he took part. It was a cowardly act." Jones said he was robbed of two necklaces, valued at $40,000, in the melee, but hopes to recover the jewelry. "The police took them as evidence," Jones said.Read more
