Quinn stops in to visit the Browns

AP reports Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn dressed in a light orange shirt for his visit to the Cleveland Browns. If he gets his wish, he'll soon have a matching orange helmet. Quinn, who grew up in Dublin, Ohio, has said he wants to play for the Browns, the team he rooted for as a kid. On Thursday, he spent a few hours touring the team's headquarters and interviewing with coaches. He arrived in Cleveland on Wednesday night and was taken to dinner by club officials. Read more

Fletcher makes Texans his first choice

The Houston Chronicle reports after completing his third visit as a free agent, CB Jamar Fletcher found the team he wants to join. Now, he sits back and waits to see if a deal can be reached with the Texans. Fletcher visited with the Texans on Wednesday. After taking previous visits to Tennessee and Kansas City, Fletcher said the Texans are the team he would prefer to join. Read more

The Post-Gazette reports Penn State OT Levi Brown visited the team. The consensus of scouts is that Brown (6 feet 5, 325 pounds) is the second-best tackle in the draft, behind Joe Thomas of Wisconsin. He is the fourth player to visit the Steelers. Read more
