The Dayton Daily News reports he may be the best pro-football prospect that many fans have never heard of. But scouts are getting quite familiar with Kent State CB Usama Young, who could be the top sleeper in this weekend's NFL draft. "Sleepers" are talented but underrated prospects — hidden gems or buried treasures just waiting to be discovered. Guys such as Young. Not invited to the NFL Combine in February, Young (5-foot-11, 196 pounds) created a buzz at Kent State's March 9 Pro Day when he unleashed a 4.39-second clocking in the 40-yard dash, a 43-inch vertical leap and 10-foot, 11-inch standing broad jump. Young's life has been a blur ever since, with visits to Indianapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Seattle, New York (Jets), Jacksonville, Cincinnati and Green Bay. Read more

The Dayton Daily News reports there are some rumblings around the NFL that have the Indianapolis Colts seriously considering taking Hampton LB Justin Durant with the 32nd pick in the first-round of the upcoming draft April 28-29. The Colts, who are without a second-round selection after trading the pick away to the Tampa Bay Bucs for DT Anthony McFarland, now find themselves looking to fill a major void at the linebacker position after LB Cato June signed a free agent contract with, of all teams, the Buccaneers.
