Titans agree to deal with receiver Moulds

AP reports the Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with veteran WR Eric Moulds on Wednesday, adding some needed experience to the roster for QB Vince Young. "Eric is a proven and productive receiver in this league," general manager Mike Reinfeldt said in a statement. "He provides us a big target with sure hands and his veteran leadership is a valuable addition to our receiving corps." The 11-year veteran spent 2006 with Houston after playing for Buffalo his first 10 seasons in the NFL. He has caught at least 67 passes in each of his last nine seasons, which is more than anyone caught for Tennessee in 2006. Read more

Briggs signs one-year tender offer

ESPN’s Len Pasquarelli reports two-time Pro Bowl weakside LB Lance Briggs, who was unable this spring to reach a long-term deal with the Chicago Bears as a designated franchise player, on Wednesday agreed to sign the one-year qualifying offer of $7.206 million that accompanies the tag, and report to camp on Thursday. Chicago will advance Briggs, who had earlier threatened to sit out until the 10th week of the season, $1 million of the $7.206 million. More important, the Bears have agreed that they will not use a franchise marker in 2008 on Briggs, to again limit his mobility, provided that he participates in 75 percent of the defensive snaps this season. Bengals sign two

The official website of the Cincinnati Bengals reports the Bengals got their first draft pick in the fold Wednesday when agent Ralph Cindrich confirmed that seventh-rounder OG Dan Santucci agreed to a four-year deal. Santucci, a Notre Dame offensive lineman, figures to start a run of second-day picks into the fold before the Bengals report to training camp 3 p.m. Thursday.  And one more has already followed. Angelo Wright, the agent for sixth-rounder DT Matt Toeaina, said his client has agreed to a four-year deal. Terms weren't disclosed for the 6-2, 311-pound defensive tackle out of Oregon. Read more

Eagles sign QB Kolb to four-year deal

AP reports QB Kevin Kolb signed a four-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday, the last of the team's eight picks to sign. Kolb, the Eagles' first pick in the April draft, was selected in the second round with the 36th overall pick. The Eagles acquired that pick and two others in a trade with Dallas. Kolb threw for 3,809 yards and 30 touchdowns his senior year at Houston, earning Conference USA offensive player of the year honors. He was a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award last year. Read more
