Baltimore Ravens 07/26/2007 9:40 AMThe Baltimore Sun reports the Ravens will place OT Jonathan Ogden on the physically-unable-to-perform list when they report to training camp Sunday, but team officials said the 10-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle should be ready to play by the regular-season opener. Ogden hyperextended the big toe on his left foot against the Cleveland Browns on Dec. 17 and did not participate in any offseason minicamps with the team. HC Brian Billick said Ogden will remain on the PUP list for an "indeterminate amount of time," although the Ravens knew this would be the plan for Ogden since the end of last season.Read more
New York Jets 07/26/2007 9:35 AMThe Star-Ledger reports the Jets yesterday their signed second-round pick, LB David Harris, leaving their first-round pick, CB Darrelle Revis, their only unsigned draft selection as the team reported to training camp at Hofstra University last night. Jacksonville Jaguars 07/26/2007 9:34 AMThe Florida Times-Union reports it's not that the Jaguars aren't interested in signing QB Daunte Culpepper. It just doesn't appear likely to happen, HC Jack Del Rio said. On his radio show Tuesday, Del Rio explained that "it just doesn't seem like it's going to fit for us and for him," but added, "I wouldn't totally rule it [signing Culpepper] out." Wednesday, Del Rio restated his position, in addition to expressing encouragement about the progress of Byron Leftwich and his comfort with the quarterbacks - Leftwich, David Garrard, Quinn Gray - already on the Jaguars' roster.Read more
