Garrett, the Cowboys' offensive coordinator, also has been courted by the Atlanta Falcons for their head coaching vacancy. Washington Redskins 01/17/2008 10:31 AMThe Washington Post reports Seattle Seahawks assistant coach Jim Mora became the fourth person to interview for Washington's vacant head coaching job, league sources said, meeting with owner Daniel Snyder at his home yesterday. Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Ron Meeks is expected to meet with Snyder today in what could be the final interview. Gregg Williams, the Redskins' assistant head coach-defense, is seen by many around the league as the leading candidate to succeed Joe Gibbs.Read more
Dallas Cowboys 01/17/2008 10:30 AMThe Star-Telegram reports the Cowboys have already lost one assistant to a head coaching vacancy, but it may stop at that. On the same day offensive line coach Tony Sparano was introduced as the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins, Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett interviewed a second time with the Falcons in Atlanta. According to an NFL source, he was scheduled to return to Texas on Wednesday evening. He's scheduled to talk to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, most likely today.Read more
