Lewis taps former boss as new receivers coach
Cincinnati Bengals01/17/2007 8:07 AM The Dayton Daily News reports Bengals HC Marvin Lewis leaned on an old friend to help keep the club's pass-catching department sturdy. Mike Sheppard, who has had stints with the Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints, was hired as the Bengals' wide receivers coach on Tuesday. He replaces Hue Jackson, who became the Atlanta Falcons' offensive coordinator on Jan. 8. Read more
