Dunn back next season, GM says

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports RB Warrick Dunn will return next season, according to Falcons president and general manager Rich McKay. Dunn is scheduled to make $3.25 million next season. However, McKay said he could have a reduced role in the offense but that would be new HC Bobby Petrino's decision. McKay said the Falcons would like to keep restricted free-agent QB Matt Schuab, but he realizes there will be interest in the quarterback. McKay also said that Petrino could incorporate some of the team's zone blocking scheme, but he will also use some more traditional run blocking and pass protection schemes. Read more
