Major concerns about Mora
Atlanta Falcons12/30/2006 9:19 AM The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons owner Arthur Blank will decide this week whether to fire HC Jim Mora. According to several team officials who spoke to the AJC on the condition of anonymity, they believe the amount of evidence stacked against the third-year coach greatly exceeds the case to keep him. The Falcons are actively looking at possible replacements but are not yet convinced any available candidates would provide a significant upgrade, the team officials said. The team wants to make sure that if they make a change they can hire a coach whose philosophy would work with the current players. Read more
