He never liked the term savior. But he mugged for the cameras in July, flashed his $30 million smile and brought late-summer hope to a town awash with playoff â make that Super Bowl â hopes. âSometimes,â Law said, âyour reputation precedes you.â Nearly the entire team had filed out of the Chiefsâ locker room Thursday afternoon for a trip to Oakland, but Law wanted to stay and talk.
