Rucker's injury could keep him out a year
Carolina Panthers12/19/2006 9:41 AM The Charlotte Observer reports Carolina DE Mike Rucker tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his left knee in the first quarter of Sunday's loss against Pittsburgh, Panthers HC John Fox said Monday. "We'll kind of play that by ear moving forward," Fox said. Recovery from such injuries can take anywhere from nine months to a year.
