Ferguson's season is over
Denver Broncos11/22/2006 9:19 AM The Denver Post reports the Broncos' locker room was a quiet place Tuesday as the team once again had to adjust to the bitter reality of a season-ending injury. SS Nick Ferguson - a team leader and boisterous locker room cutup - was recovering from a quickly arranged knee surgery as his teammates raced through preparations for a pivotal AFC West game Thursday night at Kansas City. Ferguson, a safety, suffered a medial meniscus tear in his left knee during a loss to San Diego on Sunday night. Ferguson - who suffered the injury in the first quarter and finished the game - was put on injured reserve, ending his season. His injury is another on a growing list for Denver. Read more
