Vikings sign rookie fullback, source says
Minnesota Vikings11/22/2006 8:50 AM The Pioneer Press reports the Vikings are expected to place FB Tony Richardson on injured reserve and replace him on the roster with rookie FB Naufahu Tahi, a person close to the situation said Tuesday. The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Tahi was expected to be signed by the Vikings late Tuesday off the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad. Earlier in the day, the Vikings gave tryouts to one tight end and four fullbacks, including veteran Fred Beasley, who played eight seasons for San Francisco. Read more
