Gore upgraded to probable
San Francisco 49ers11/18/2006 8:49 AM The Contra Costa Times reports RB Frank Gore practiced without restrictions for the first time this week Friday, and the 49ers upgraded him to probable for Sunday's game against Seattle. Gore sustained a mild concussion at Detroit last week. He had run for 159 yards, including a team record 148 in the first half. "It felt good to run around like that again," Gore said. "I feel all right. I'm ready to get back in the game and take a hit." TE Vernon Davis also practiced without restriction for the first time since fracturing his right fibula Sept. 24 but remained questionable. HC Mike Nolan said Davis' status would be a game-day decision. Read more
