Giants in search of wideout

The Star-Ledger reports the Giants' interest in former Bengals WR Peter Warrick isn't necessarily an indication the team is looking to add a veteran receiver immediately. They simply appear to be exploring all of their options to possibly replace WR Amani Toomer, who is out for the season with a partially torn ACL. Warrick's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, confirmed his client worked out for the Giants on Monday. When reached on his cell phone yesterday morning, Rosenhaus said Warrick had already left the area. When asked if he believed a deal was imminent, Rosenhaus said, "No, I don't." Read more
