Urlacher could play
Chicago Bears11/11/2006 10:07 AM The Chicago Sun-Times reports LB Brian Urlacher returned to the middle of the Bears' defense at practice Friday as they finished preparation for their biggest test of the season to date at the New York Giants on Sunday night. With critics saying the Bears are 7-1 in part because of a soft schedule, the Giants (6-2) will provide a good measuring stick even if they are beset by injuries. The Bears' next five opponents are .500 or better, so they will finally be able to say that they have faced quality competition, and the sprained left big toe Urlacher suffered last Sunday against Miami does not figure to get in the way.
