Bengals active Moch, place Scott on IR

The Cincinnati Bengals today announced they have activated linebacker Dontay Moch to the roster. The 6-foot-2, 245-pound Moch is a second-year NFL player out of the University of Nevada. He had been with the team for the past week on a roster exemption, which expires today. Moch led the team in sacks (3.5) during preseason, but was out for Games 1-4 of the regular season on an NFL suspension for a violation of league policy on performance-enhancing substances. To make room on the roster, the team placed halfback Bernard Scott on the Reserve/Injured list. Scott, a fourth-year player, rushed five times for 40 yards against Miami but suffered a season-ending knee injury in the second quarter. Read more
