Camarillo on the road to recovery
Miami Dolphins12/11/2008 8:31 AM The Palm Beach Post reports WR Greg Camarillo is back in South Florida, following surgery Tuesday morning to repair his damaged left knee. Esteemed orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews of Birmingham repaired Camarillo’s torn ACL and meniscus. Thursday, Camarillo will begin the long, grueling rehabilitation process, with an eye on returning to the field in time for training camp in late July, said agent J.R. Rickert. “He’s turned the page,” Rickert said. “Now the work begins. We don’t see any reason why he won’t be ready at the beginning of training camp, assuming he doesn’t have any setbacks.” Read more
