Backfield banged up after win over Browns
Houston Texans11/25/2008 8:46 AM The Houston Chronicle reports the Texans can use the extra day off before they play Monday night against Jacksonville, as running backs Steve Slaton (chest, ribs), Ahman Green (knee) and Ryan Moats (ankle) are injured. Slaton showed his toughness by playing against Cleveland with his injuries, finishing with 21 carries for 73 yards; Green gained 39 yards on 13 carries, but after the game, coach Gary Kubiak said Green could be out for weeks.
