Dolphins Camarillo will miss rest of the season with a torn ACL
Miami Dolphins11/25/2008 8:39 AM The Palm Beach Post reports after seven straight games on the bench, wide receiver Ernest Wilford might finally get the chance to earn his $7 million salary. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, Wilford's opportunity comes through a painful expense - a season-ending knee injury to leading receiver Greg Camarillo. Camarillo's father, Al, said his son suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 48-28 loss to New England. Dr. James Andrews, the renowned orthopedic surgeon from Birmingham, Ala., will perform surgery in two-three weeks. Read more
