Jackson already ruled out for Sunday’s game

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports there will be no intrigue this week regarding RB Steven Jackson’s availability for Sunday’s game against the Bears. Jackson already has been ruled out, meaning that the strained thigh muscle that originally was thought to be a one- or two-day injury is extending toward six weeks. Jackson was injured in the fourth quarter Oct. 19 against the Cowboys. He reaggravated the injury two weeks later when he tried to come back vs. the Cardinals, and has been sidelined since then.
