Tony Romo starts throwing, but Brad Johnson is starting for Dallas Cowboys

The Star-Telegram reports despite a busted pinkie on his throwing hand, Tony Romo is trying to give it a go. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback threw passes Wednesday morning and, according to a source, has told the coaches he’s willing to play on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams. Romo did not practice on Wednesday, and coach Wade Phillips said if Romo does not practice he will not play. Romo will make the trip to St. Louis. Veteran Brad Johnson practiced with the first-team offense on Wednesday, and is still expected to start on Sunday. Read more
