Veteran Nalen has surgery to repair left knee
Denver Broncos06/07/2008 8:37 AM The Denver Post reports Broncos C Tom Nalen underwent arthroscopic surgery Friday afternoon to repair a torn cartilage in his left knee. Nalen, 37, will be out at least until the team's final minicamp July 7-8, but should return by the start of training camp July 25. "He should be full speed by the time we go to camp," Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said. With Jason Elam now kicking for the Atlanta Falcons and receiver Rod Smith all but officially retired, Nalen is the Broncos' longest tenured player as he enters his 15th season. Read more
