Vick ordered to pay $1.1 mil to Wachovia
Atlanta Falcons05/14/2008 4:39 PM The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports QB Michael Vick has lost another lawsuit to a financial institution, his second in less than a week. Vick must repay more than $1.1 million for defaulting on a loan to Wachovia Bank in a court order filed Tuesday in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The suspended Falcons quarterback and Gerald Frank Jenkins borrowed money to open Atlantic Wine & Spirits, and the adjoining Tasting Room restaurant, on Camp Creek Parkway in College Park in March of 2007. Summary judgments in the case have already be entered against Atlantic Wine and Jenkins. Read more
