Diehl gets a six-year deal

Right now, OL David Diehl probably doesn't feel that way. That's because the Giants recently gave their left tackle a new six-year contract despite the fact he had four years remaining on his existing deal. Diehl's agent, Peter Schaffer, confirmed the new deal yesterday but did not provide financial terms, though someone familiar with the terms of the contract said it's worth $31 million and runs through the 2013 season.
