Romberg re-signs; cornerback is added
St. Louis Rams03/21/2008 2:10 PM The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports C Brett Romberg has had to fight and scrape for everything he could get in the NFL. That theme held true for Romberg this offseason during the free agency period. Hoping for some degree of job security with a multi-year deal, Romberg instead agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Rams, with whom he spent most of the past two seasons. Also Thursday, the Rams signed free-agent CB David Macklin to a one-year deal and visited with free-agent WR Reche Caldwell, who could sign in the next day or so. Read more
