Williams, Jaguars agree to four-year contract
Jacksonville Jaguars03/06/2008 4:36 PM ESPN’s John Clayton reports a year ago, the Jacksonville Jaguars were willing to part with OT Maurice Williams after the signing of right tackle Tony Pathos, but now they can't operate without him. Williams, 29, reached an agreement Thursday morning to stay in Jacksonville and play on the offensive line. He agreed in principle to a four-year, $16 million deal that included $4 million in guarantees. Depending on how much the team uses him, he could make another $500,000 a year. Read more
