Bengals ready to face Ravens

The Dayton Daily News reports QB Anthony Wright is ready to resume his duties as backup quarterback. HC Marvin Lewis announced Monday that Wright, who underwent surgery to have his appendix removed Oct. 13, has been medically cleared to practice. The timing is perfect because Wright gets to suit up against his former team. The Ravens chose not to re-sign Wright, and he joined the Bengals in April as an unrestricted free agent. "I told (the coaches) I was coming back, regardless, for this game — stand on the sideline and have a chance just to see it from a different view, and play these guys," Wright said. Read more
