San Francisco 49ers 01/07/2008 8:58 AMThe Mercury News reports Mike Martz, known for his pedal-to-the-metal approach as a play-caller, is scheduled to interview today for the 49ers' offensive-coordinator position. Martz, dismissed last week as Detroit's offensive coordinator, is the second to interview for the position since 49ers Coach Mike Nolan fired Jim Hostler after the season. Former Georgia Tech coach Chan Gailey, a two-time NFL offensive coordinator who also served as Dallas Cowboys head coach, interviewed with Nolan on Saturday.Read more
