Rookie WR gives Colts more than they expected

The Indianapolis Star reports WR Anthony Gonzalez's role was spelled out shortly after the Indianapolis Colts latched onto him with the final pick in the first round of the April draft. The shifty, speedy slot receiver out of Ohio State was viewed as a valuable complement to QB Peyton Manning's already well-stocked offense. He was considered a great "fit'' as well as someone who would be able to fit in with a cast that already included Pro Bowl receivers Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne, TE Dallas Clark and RB Joseph Addai.
