Fitzgerald caps season with gem

The Arizona Republic reports the NFL has finally collared WR Larry Fitzgerald. It's something that league defensive backs have been trying to do for four seasons. "Somebody snitched on me," Fitzgerald said. "I just got a letter from the league. The league told me I had to be in the locker room (after the game). I didn't want a $10,000 fine today." Notorious for blowing off press coverage off the field, Fitzgerald's final game of the 2007 season was nevertheless a banner effort. He caught 11 passes for 171 yards in the Cardinals' 48-19 win over the Rams Sunday, reaching the 100-reception plateau for the second time in his four-year career. Read more
