Texans to hold on to Rosenfels
Houston Texans12/30/2007 11:14 AM The Houston Chronicle reports a lot of Texans fans are suggesting the team trade QB Sage Rosenfels for a second-round draft choice, but it's not going to happen. Going into today's game against the Jaguars, the Texans are set at quarterback for next season. QB Matt Schaub is the starter and Rosenfels the backup. GM Rick Smith and coach Gary Kubiak would love to acquire a second-round pick, but it won't be for Rosenfels, who has two years left on his contract and has done a terrific job replacing the injured Schaub.
