Cribbs, Thomas win player-of-month awards
Cleveland Browns12/07/2007 8:16 AM AP reports Browns kick returner Joshua Cribbs has an award to go along with all those return yards. Cribbs on Thursday was named the AFC special teams player of the month for November. He leads the NFL with 1,560 kickoff return yards and a 31.2 average. He also ranks sixth in the NFL with an 11.6 punt return average and leads the Browns with 17 special teams tackles. Cribbs had 19 kickoff returns for 664 yards â averaging 35 yards â and one touchdown in November. Rookie OT Joe Thomas was named the NFL offensive rookie of the month for November. He's helped solidify an offensive line that has allowed QB Derek Anderson to throw for 24 touchdowns and Jamal Lewis to score eight TDs. Read more
