Reid testy over McNabb questions
Philadelphia Eagles12/04/2007 12:38 PM The Trenton Times reports the Eagles have not defeated a team with a winning record since last Christmas and are 2-4 at home following Sunday's abominable 28-24 loss to the Seattle Seahawks at Lincoln Financial Field. Backup QB A.J. Feeley threw four interceptions; the Eagles failed to score four times from the 1-yard line at the end of the first half, and the play calling of offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg and head coach Andy Reid, amid poor weather conditions was questionable, to say the least. Throw in three missed opportunities for takeaways by the defense and the inability to score on their final eight possessions, and yet none of those things were enough to get Reid to reach his boiling point at his morning-after press conference yesterday at the Nova Care Complex. But ask him a follow-up question about QB Donovan McNabb in an attempt to find out if his injured quarterback was in any way part of the decision-making process that ultimately rendered him out of commission for the Seahawks, and look out.
