3 Steelers starters expected to miss Bengals game
Pittsburgh Steelers11/30/2007 5:30 PM The Post-Gazette reports the Steelers are expected to be without three starters for the second game in a row when they play the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field Sunday night. DB Tyrone Carter is expected to start his second game in a row at strong safety for injured S Troy Polamalu (knee), even though Polamalu did some light work in practice for the first time this week. Polamalu, though, did not work with the first team and was limited to merely trotting around the field. He is not expected to play along with WR Santonio Holmes (ankle sprain) and left OT Marvel Smith (back). Holmes and Smith have not practiced all week. Read more
