Minnesota Vikings 11/28/2007 3:50 AMThe Pioneer Press reports the Vikings expect to have RB Adrian Peterson back for Sunday's game against Detroit, but they won't be rushing their No. 1 draft choice. Coach Brad Childress made that clear Monday while revealing that Peterson had undergone a follow-up magnetic resonance imaging test on his right knee, "and it shows excellent healing in there." Barring a setback on the practice field, Peterson, who tore his lateral collateral ligament Nov. 11 at Green Bay, will play against the Lions but in a reduced role.Read more
