Falcons place starting DTs on IR

ESPN’s Len Pasquarelli reports the already undermanned Atlanta Falcons, confronting a short work week because of a Thanksgiving night game against the Indianapolis Colts, will face the defending Super Bowl champions further shorthanded on the defensive line. The Falcons on Tuesday afternoon placed both starting defensive tackles, nine-year veteran Rod Coleman and rookie Trey Lewis, on injured reserve, ending their seasons and leaving the club perilously thin at the position. Both players were injured in last Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Georgia Dome. Read more
