Cole is racking up sacks

The Eagles' right defensive end, who already has compiled nine sacks, just wants to keep going in the wake of declaring in the preseason that his goal was to make it to double digits. "I just want to play hard-nosed football," he said. "I just want to keep getting sacks and try to do what I can for my team. I want to keep going hard from here on out." Cole will need help the rest of the way, to be sure. He started strongly last season as well with 6.5 sacks in the first eight games but only 1.5 in the next eight. Read more
