Atlanta Falcons 11/02/2007 8:00 AMThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the Falcons signed NT Tim Anderson on Thursday to add some depth to their depleted defensive line. Anderson was added after DL Montavious Stanley suffered an injury Wednesday when his knee slammed into another player's knee in a pile-up. With Stanley's status uncertain and the recent release of DT Grady Jackson, the Falcons needed depth along the defensive line. CB Brent Grimes was released to make room for Anderson, a four-year veteran and a third-round draft pick (74th overall) of the Buffalo Bills in 2004.Read more
