Jackson says he can 'play around' injury

The Pioneer Press reports QB Tarvaris Jackson's prospects for playing in Sunday's game against Philadelphia could become a bit clearer today, when the Vikings return to the practice field.  But from a purely physical standpoint, the team's starting quarterback said he doesn't believe that having a fractured right index finger will severely impair his ability to pass the football. "You can play around it," Jackson said. "The worst one you can hurt is your thumb, probably. This finger, as far as tight spirals and stuff go, it's not good for that." Read more
