Knee sprain could bench ironman Smith

The Post-Gazette reports DE Aaron Smith, who has not missed a game since his rookie season in 1999, likely won't play Sunday in Cincinnati. HC Mike Tomlin said yesterday that Smith is "doubtful" with a sprained ligament in his left knee. WR Hines Ward missed two games with a sprained knee this season and then had an open week before returning to play Sunday night in Denver.
